Nothing But You's New Album 'I LOVE YOU ON MY OWN' Will Be Commemorated With A Launch Party March 31, 2018, at Piano Fight in San Francisco, CA
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, 20 December 2017 - Japanese – American singer Nothing But You, Nicky has announced the release of her upcoming album, I LOVE YOU ON MY OWN on April 6, 2018. The album will be available for pre-order starting on Friday, January 12th. The single, “On My Own,” is currently available via all digital channels.
The album was composed by Multi-award winning composer Emine Sari (www.eminemusic.com), produced by Cihat Atlig, with vocal production and engineering by Multi-platinum winning engineer Joel Evenden (Eric Clapton, Lara Fabian, Rod Stewart, BB King…), features the distinctive voice of Nicky, nee Kiyomi Ishii. “I Love You On My Own” is the follow-up album to Nothing But You’s single, “On My Own,” which soared to Number 1 on iTunes’ Blues charts in Japan and Turkey and currently #119 on DRT Global Top 200 Airplay Chart!
Nothing But You has been granted “Best Lyric” and "Adult Contemporary" awards by the Global Music Awards (GMA) for her song "On My Own" from the album “I Love You On My Own”.

Nothing But You, Nicky is a driven, talented and charismatic artist based in San Francisco. Music has been her passion since childhood. Years of consistent vocal training has helped Nicky develop her powerful voice, dynamic vocal range, and signature sound.
Nicky’s performative approach is direct and inspired: her songs are honest and personal, while her far-reaching vocal performances exude feeling and emotion, with a really expressive sense of musicianship, inspired by legendary performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Whitney Houston or Celine Dion, just to mention but a few.

Nothing But You, Nicky is a driven, talented and charismatic artist based in San Francisco. She is particularly striking for her distinctive vocal skills. Her dynamic approach to singing covers an ample range, as she is able to seamlessly float from moody and introspective vocals with an intimate feel, to larger-than-life hooks that are easy to sing along and remember.
Nothing But You, Nicky grew up in Japan, but relocated half the world away, heading for the sunny shores of California. Currently, she is based in San Francisco, where she lives and works on her musical craft.
Nicky’s performative approach is direct and inspired: her songs are honest and personal, while her far-reaching vocal performances exude feeling and emotion, with a really expressive sense of musicianship, inspired by legendary performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Whitney Houston or Celine Dion, just to mention but a few.
Initially, she collaborated with a producer as a duo, but later focused on her solo work, performing music with an eclectic range of influences and a kaleidoscopic vibe!
